Axl Rose Joins Carrie Underwood Onstage At Stagecoach

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose joined Carrie Underwood onstage at the Stagecoach Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, on Saturday (April 30) and performed a couple of GNR songs.

After singing the first verse of “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” Underwood said, “Welcome to the best night of my life! Give it up for Axl Rose!”

Rose, clad in a black vest and t-shirt, handled most of the rest of the song. The two singers sang the “Where do we go now?” section together.

Underwood’s band then played the opening chords of “Paradise City,” upon which Underwood asked the crowd, “You thought we were finished?” and went on to trade vocals with Rose on the song.

“Best. Night. Of. My. Life!!!,” Underwood wrote on Twitter after the event and shared some photos of the performance as well. “I am still freaking out!!! Thank you Axl Rose, for making this lifelong dream come true!!! You rocked that Stagecoach stage harder than anyone has ever rocked it before!”
