Chris Young Leads ACM Awards Nominations

Chris Young leads the nominees for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, receiving nominations in seven categories.

Young shares three of his nominations with fellow artist and collaborator Kane Brown for their song “Famous Friends” in the video of the year, Music event of the year and single of the Year categories. Famous Friends was also nominated for Album of the Year.

Miranda Lambert received five nominations, including her 16th Female Artist of the Year nomination, tying the record held by Reba McEntire.

Gabby Barrett, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris and Carly Pearce are the other Female Artist of the Year nominees.

Jimmie Allen, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen are vying for Male artist of the year award.

Stapleton received five nominations, including his fourth nod for Entertainer of the Year and his seventh for Male Artist of the Year.

Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood are the other nominees for Entertainer of the Year.

Walker Hayes received five nominations as a first-time nominee.

The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by global icon Dolly Parton and co-hosted by reigning ACM New Male Artist of the Year winner Jimmie Allen and reigning ACM New Female Artist of the Year Gabby Barrett, will stream live on Prime Video on March 7 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
