Gabby Barrett To Return To ‘American Idol’ As A Mentor

Rising country star Gabby Barrett is set to return to “American Idol” on Sunday, April 24, as a mentor.

Barrett, who first appeared on “American Idol” season 16 and finished in third place, will be mentoring the top 14 contestants in the 20th season of the talent-hunting reality show that airs on Sundays and Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.

The current season of “American Idol,” hosted by Ryan Seacrest, features judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan.

Over the last weekend, the show went to Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii, where the top 24 contestants performed for America’s vote for the first time. Bebe Rexha served as guest mentor.
