Hip-hop superstar Lil Durk has revealed his desire to record an album with country star Morgan Wallen.
Last week, Lil Durk posted an Instagram Story in which the Chicago rapper teased that he might record an album with his good friend Wallen.
“Me and Morgan need to do a album together be the 1st to do it,” Durk wrote. “let’s do it @MorganWallen.”
Lil Durk recently released his album Almost Healed, which debuted at No. 3 debut on the Billboard 200.
The album included a deep cut with Wallen, titled “Stand by Me,” marking the pair’s second collaboration. The song peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
During Wallen’s “N-word” controversy last year, Lil Durk had voiced his support for the country singer. In an interview with TMZ, Durk said, “He ain’t no racist. That’s my boy. We had a long talk. He had his public situation. I vouch for him and he good.”
He continued, “He ain’t canceled, I talked to him. When I say you ain’t canceled, you ain’t canceled.”
