The Band Perry have announced plan to take a “creative break” to focus on their individual careers.

“We wanted to let you know that the three of us have decided to take a creative break as a group and each focus on our individual creative pursuits,” a statement from the trio reads. “During this season, we will continue to support each other as artist and family in all we do.”

“Thank you for making our childhood dreams come true!” the Band Perry added, signing their note as “Kimberly, Reid and Neil.”

The Band Perry are composed of siblings Kimberly Perry (lead vocals, guitar), Reid Perry (bass guitar, background vocals), and Neil Perry (mandolin, bouzouki, background vocals).

They signed to Republic Nashville in August 2009 and released their self-titled debut album in October 2010. From this album, “If I Die Young” reached No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs and Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts and has been certified 6x multi-platinum.

Their second album, Pioneer, was released April 2, 2013. It produced additional No. 1 singles in “Better Dig Two” and “Done” plus the top 10 hits “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” and “Chainsaw.”
